Love is a Radical ActLove is a radical act. Taking the time to actually love someone, to truly value who they are rather than hurt them or force them to be someone else, is a radical act. To value acts of love over disposable things is a radical act. It goes against what we are taught by society.
In 2011 Kelly and Sam began documenting their interactive collaborative installation project, along with various perspectives on the many kinds of love and families that exist. They created small ceramic hearts and asked people to leave them around town, to give to friends, to create art installations with them. Sam and Kelly did "heart bombings" and their friends and friends of friends took documented their heart bombings on the Love is a Radical Act site and Facebook page. |
